The Lion's Share - June
Junior Disco - What a night!
We kicked off at 6.00 for the little Lion Cubs and they had a great time; the dance floor was full and not just with the kids as the parents knew most of the songs and could not resist the urge to join in at some stage - Fiona's chicken dance was a highlight. It was a bit more work to get the older kids up and going for the 7.45 session but once they got going there was no stopping them, with the Village People smash YMCA being one of the most popular dance tracks (see attached photos). A huge thankyou to Mr Disco Shaun Quinn (who is available for functions 0417382825) for putting on a great light and sound show. and all the other usual suspects who helped out.
Cheers Rob Norton

Derby Day and Sponsor's Day Report
It was a small turn out, but still a very enjoyable and successful event. This function is the chance for the club to say thank you to all its Sponsors for their invaluable contributions. We also invited all of the Club Life Members, who again, we thank for their contributions over the years. If it weren't for these people the club would not have progressed as quickly to where it is today. We provided refreshments and entertainment by way of the Premier League team playing the local derby against Taroona. The Sponsors and Life Members were very impressed with the home team's performance and we were pleased to see Kingborough win the game convincingly. A great day all round for KLUSC.
Congratulations to Sharon O'Rourke who won the raffle at the Derby Day
