Under 8 White Match Report
Saturday, May 17, 2008 v Hutchins Magenta @ Lightwood Park
Match report :
Kingborough White took on Hutchins Magenta at Lightwood Park and it was a great spectacle.
As you'd expect !
In the first half the goalie didn't see the ball much as the defenders kept the ball away from the goals, they did a great job.
They alternated well between attacking and defending keeping them busy on the field at all times. Hutchins fought hard on the ball and it was certainly a very evenly matched game.
At half time it was 0 - 0
Shortly into the second half Hutchins kicked the first goal of the game. The Lions started to look tired and they began to get out run on the field. THEN out of nowhere the game turned and we spent the next 10 minutes fixated on a great finish, the fancy foot work started and they were calling for the ball and looking for the opening to pass, it was fantastic to watch.
A goal was scored to bring the game to 1 - 1.
This game was one of the hardest games so far this season. It was a credit to the Team on how they came together in the end. The boys had there running shoes on for the whole forty minutes with no subs today they deserved a well earned spell at the end of this game.
The game ended as 1 - 1 all draw.
A big Thank You to Adam Hughes for reffing our game today.
