Saturday, April 19, 2008 v Hutchins Black @ Lightwood Park

Match report :

Kingborough White took on Hutchins Black at Lightwood Park. We started the game looking alive and the boys were excited. Ethan out of action again this week and I know he is busting to get back into the game next week. The weather was also certainly smiling upon us today as well. The lads had certainly had there weetbix for breakfast this morning as they took the field with all guns blazing. Will played goalie again this week for the first half and he did a great job covering his goals. Finn hung back in the defense which was great in helping cover the back half near the goalie. Lemuel starting to find his feet, running for the ball and going in for the kick, it was a great effort. Hunter has certainly become part of the team, we seen some great attacking on his behalf. The first half saw the team 2 goals up going into half time.

The second half Luca played in goals, he was certainly eager and had the strong kick getting the ball back into the game. Daniel was certainly on the ball today it must have been the egg on toast, he stuck to the ball and scored 3 goals. Maksim used some fancy footwork today and it paid off, he seized a goal opportunity and scored. Hutchins played a great game and they were certainly on the ball they produced good attack and defense and missed some unlucky shots for goal. They kept our boys busy out on the field and around the goals not giving an inch. A great job done by all today and it was fantastic to see the team work together and well done to everyone that aided our goal kickers in achieving their targets. A big Thank You to Ian Ball who reffed our game today.
