Saturday, April 26, 2008 v West Hobart Green @ Lightwood Park

Match report :

Kingborough White took on West Hobart at Lightwood Park and what a nail bitter it was. We had a full team today for the first time this Season which was great to see. All the boys had their skates on and they certainly used the whole field for this game. The footwork and ball skills that the boys showed today were fantastic, the team all worked together well and it is was great to watch. Hunter did a fabulous job getting in the attack and he is certainly getting more time on the ball. Finn enjoyed his game, he had smile from ear to ear as he chased the ball round the field. Luca did a great job in goals and had quite a few saves.

Half time seen a nil all score, Ethan scored our first goal for the game and played great defense. Will scored a goal towards the end of the last half and worked well in supporting his team. Lemuel showed some great footwork today as he took his turn on the ball. Daniel with his quickness around the ground intercepted the ball when needed the most. Maksim did a great job in the attack and was fast on the ground to help the interceptions. West Hobart put up a great fight and they all played a top game and proved to be great competition for our boys. The Lions proved victorious with a score of 2-1. The boys played a fantastic game today and have been working really hard at their training sessions which is really starting to show. A big Thank You to Shane Brock for reffing our game today.
