Saturday, April 26, 2008 v West Hobart Red @ Lightwood Park

Match report :

The Gold Girls can be proud of a strong game against the west Hobart Red. They showed resilience and great team-work, both in defending and creating several opportunities in attack.

Ruby and Ashleigh showed good skills in the midfield and passing out of defence. Josie ran hard and developed some good attacking moves. Laura played a solid defensive game along with Grace who made some good passes to team-mates.

Charlotte ran hard and made some exciting runs up the wing, whilst Lily also worked very hard, running in midfield and playing some great passes and defensive moves. Isabelle was rock solid in goals in the second half, saving some hard shots from the opposition.

The team showed great team-work and showed their skills are developing as they made some nicely though out passes.

The parents were kept on the edge of their toes until the final whistle.
