Match report :
A road trip to Pontville for the blue team this week and low numbers due to the long weekend saw a titanic battle take place, with a handy lead at half time all was looking good but when reinforcements for Hobart united arrived the lions were battleing 8v11, some fantastic commitment from the whole team saw the boys hang on for a 5-4 victory after some commited defending in the dying minutes of the game.Good goals to Linden (3) and Vincent (2) and a great effort from Jacob in goals gave the boys a great start to the season.
A Sunday home game v the div 3 favorites will be another great game for the boys.
