Match report :
Kingborough Lions Blue went down 1 - 5 to Taroona in what was actually a pretty close game, and not reflective of the score.
Kingborough started well, by winnig the toss, elected to kick North with the wind, hoping that it would fade int ehsecond half, and it did.
Alexander Scott kicked the first goal in the opening minutes to put Kingborough, 1 - 0 up early on. The ball was taken extremely quickly from the centre, and left the opposition pretty much flat footed.
Taroona then kicked the next 2 goals, to have a 2 - 1 lead at half time.
Kingborough Lions started the second half very flat, and only for a few minutes, and paid a hefty price, with 2 more goals from Taroona.
The whole team played well, with another solid performance in goals from Rohan.
